The real coaching moment

The person in front of you is carrying more than the goal you are working on.

Your specialism still matters. The skill is bringing enough of the wider person into view to use that expertise well.

The goal is clear, but progress has stalled.

A golfer’s technical work is affected by travel, fatigue and a saturated mind. You want to understand what else is shaping their ability to move forward.

The advice makes sense, but not for the week they are living.

A health client knows what to do, yet work, sleep, confidence or the support around them has changed. The next step needs to fit their current capacity.

Another part of life is influencing the result.

An executive may understand the plan and still lack the resources to act on it now. You need a consistent way to explore the wider context without losing your own role.

Built for coaches who already have a craft and people who trust them. Health, fitness, performance, executive and leadership coaches bring the method into their own discipline and existing professional scope.
The practical change

See more. Ask better questions. Choose the next step with greater clarity.

Foundations develops the judgement to see the wider picture without losing your specialism. You learn to organise what you hear and make your expertise more useful through better context and timing.

01

See beyond the presenting issue

Widen the conversation when the stated goal does not explain the whole picture.

02

Organise the wider picture

Bring relevant strengths, pressures, resources and circumstances into a coherent view.

03

Make sense of what matters now

Develop a useful current understanding with the person while staying open to what changes.

04

Agree the next useful step

Choose one proportionate action that fits the person’s priorities, resources and available capacity.

05

Learn from what happens next

Review the person’s real experience and use that feedback to guide the next conversation.

06

Use your expertise with better timing

Apply your own discipline with a clearer sense of what will help this person now.

Look beyond the loudest issue.

The aim is not simply to explain why progress stalled. It is to notice the wider pattern earlier, help the person understand the direction they are moving in and agree a useful step before the latest problem takes over the conversation.

How you learn

Learn through your own experience first.

You learn the principles, use the working resources on yourself and reflect on what changes. That first-hand experience helps you understand the method before bringing it into real coaching conversations.

1

Learn properly

Clear video and written teaching makes the thinking understandable without stripping away its depth.

2

Apply personally

Guided reflection lets you experience the work from the other side of the coaching relationship.

3

Use thoughtfully

Working resources help you prepare, organise context and think more clearly within your own role.

Foundations stands on its own. A real conversation and the working resources are enough. The 360 App and Private Member Platform enter the pathway at Level II.
Built from evidence · refined in practice

Research, experience and the person in front of you.

Evidence-based practice is more than attaching references to a lesson. It brings together the best available research, practitioner experience and the individual person’s goals, preferences and context.

Foundations was developed inside 360’s own client work, refined through real coaching conversations and structured so other experienced practitioners can use it through their own expertise.

7,500+

25 years

Direct practice across health, fitness, nutrition, professional sport, private healthcare and corporate wellbeing.

Built through the work

A practical method, made transferable.

360 began on the gym floor and developed through 25 years of work across health, fitness, nutrition and high-performance sport.

Again and again, excellent specialists were doing good work while important context sat in the space between disciplines. The earliest version of the method began on paper: a clearer way to understand the person, organise what mattered and make a better decision about where to begin.

Foundations now gives other experienced coaches that same organising method—so they can make more of what they already know while the person in front of them feels seen, supported and able to move forward.

Questions

Before you begin.

If something important is still unclear, ask us. You should know what you are buying and where it sits in the wider pathway.

Ask us directly
Who is Foundations for?
Foundations is built for established coaches and practitioners who already have expertise, people who trust them and a desire to understand more of the person around their specialism. This includes health, fitness, performance, executive and leadership work.
What will this change in my coaching?
You will have a clearer way to widen the conversation, organise context, make sense of what matters now and agree a useful next step. The method strengthens how you use the expertise you already have.
Is Foundations a certification?
Foundations is professional development and includes a Certificate of Completion. The Practitioner Assessment is a separate applied assessment later in the 360 OS™ pathway, and it leads to Authorised Practitioner status.
What may I call myself after completing it?
You may say that you have completed 360 OS™ Foundations and received a Certificate of Completion. Completing Foundations does not make you a 360 OS™ Authorised Practitioner.
Do I need the 360 App or Private Member Platform?
No. Foundations stands on its own. You use the methodology through the working resources and real coaching conversations. The App and Private Member Platform are part of the Level II Practitioner Programme.
Does this change my professional scope?
No. You bring the learning into the role, qualifications and responsibilities you already hold. Foundations does not qualify you in another professional discipline.
How is completion assessed?
You complete a guided Foundations Reflection and Integration exercise using the learning on yourself. It demonstrates engagement with the learning and supports your Certificate of Completion. Independent practitioner competence is assessed later in the practitioner pathway.
What happens when I want the complete 360 OS™ system?
The Practitioner Programme is the next stage. It develops the applied skills and adds the App, Private Member Platform and practice infrastructure needed to build premium individual services and small participatory cohorts. A separate Practitioner Assessment and current Authorised Practitioner status complete the route to client delivery.
